A tanker fully laden with 33,000 litres of PMS on Sunday afternoon crashed at Oribawo Bishop at the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos and spilled it’s contents.
The South-west spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed the spill said they have been able to mitigate any untoward situation.
He said: “A tanker with 33,000 litres of PMS crashed  at Oribawo Bishop at the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos and spilled it’s contents on the road.

“There is need for people to keep off the area. Already, the fire service has sprayed foam to weaken the petrol to incapacitate the flammable potency of the gasoline.
“Thereafter we did the decanning before we were able to lift the tanker to enable ease of safe movement.”
