No fewer than eight policemen, including a Divisional Police Officer ,
were wounded on Wednesday , as suspected party thugs attacked a
chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Joseph Alake in Efon
Alaaye, Efon Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The APC chieftain gave the revelation in Ado Ekiti while
contributing during a stakeholders’ meeting organized by security
Chiefs for political parties in the State in preparation towards the
2015 general elections.
Alake revealed that the thugs invaded his house at about 8am and
fired gunshots indiscriminately and brandished dangerous weapons with
sinister intention to kill him and members of his household. Details
