A young mother has been tragically shot dead by her 3-year-old son.

A tragic and horrible accident has claimed the life of young mother who was accidentally shot dead by her 3-year-old son
while changing her 1-year-old daughter's nappy. The toddler, according
to the police, accidentally pulled the trigger on the fully loaded
semi-automatic belonging to his father and killed his mother on the
spot.
According to Mirror UK,
the toddler found the loaded handgun and fired a shot, hitting his
26-year-old mother, Christa Engles in the head at her home in Tulsa,
Oklahoma.
Engles' husband, a truck driver who was
on the road, arrived home after hearing about the shooting and was only
able to confirm his wife's death by repeatedly calling the hospital.
Police
say the woman's mother came in and supposedly found the two children
covered in blood, adding that there was a lot of guns in the house.
Police say the boy apparently found the large-calibre handgun under the sofa.
Tulsa detective sergeant Dave Walker said:
"We are prepared to do what we have to do to keep the kid safe - we think this is a horrible, horrible accident."
