Reports coming in from Adamawa State reveal that the Nigerian military has arrested the Boko Haram professional cameramen while trying to flee.
The Director Defence Information, Major General Chris
Olukolade, who made this known to Sahara
Reporters on Monday, said the
troops will continue to sustain their offensives against terrorists in
North-Eastern Nigeria.
He said more arrests have been made, adding that the
professional cameramen for the terrorist group who were arrested are
experts in photo, video recording and filming of their attacks on
communities and atrocities against innocent Nigerians.
Olukolade further hinted that the terrorists were arrested during patrols, surveillance and raid operations to track fleeing terrorists in communities around Adamawa State.
The Defence spokesman said the four of those apprehended were trying to escape in an SUV jeep with digital camera and weapons.
He said the vehicle and weapons have been taken into custody, and that the suspects are currently helping in an ongoing investigation in one of the barracks.
The Nigerian military has continued to sustain its offensives against the Islamist terrorists with more members of the sect either killed or arrested recently, especially as no fewer than 70 terrorists were killed by the military during a battle at a dynamite-manufacturing town of Ashaka in Gombe State.
